Meeting Darth Vader on a photoshoot in Banbury.

I was on a great photoshoot in the A.K.A a cool bar in Banbury with model Victoria Anne Essex. We were looking for a sexy movie style look to our images and they were working out great. Here's a few below.

So as you can see it looks great right, model looks great, light good, location good job done. But then as sometimes it can things turned weirdly brilliant. I first saw Star wars in 1977, I was 12 years old. It was the greatest thing I'd ever seen, I became obsessed, I saw it and the following trilogy hundreds of times still watch it today. So when in through the front door of the bar steps in Darth Vader and two stormtroopers I found it very hard to hide my excitement. They were great guys working down the road at a convention. My photography brain light up immediately and I approached them to join us in the photoshoot. They very graciously agreed so I quickly set up some lights and set the scene. It needed to be comic so I asked Darth Vader to become the barman and the stormtroopers to be lively punters. The comedy comes from Victoria playing it very straight as if everything is completely normal, she completely nailed it. Sometimes when you get up and step out of the house wonderful adventures can happen.
